O� / AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Village of Elk Grove Village to annex certain territory legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 7-1-13 of the Illinois Municipal Code (Chapter 24, Illinois Revised Statutes, 1973), a municipality may annex territory wholly bounded by it by the adop- tion of an Ordinance to that effect; and WHEREAS, said territory is less than 60 acres in size and is wholly bounded by the Village of Elk Grove Village, and WHEREAS, appropriate notice of the intended passage of this Annexation Ordinance has been published in a newspaper of general circulation within the territory to be annexed more than ten (10) days proceeding the date hereof, and WHEREAS, the territory hereinafter described is not within the corporate limits of any library or fire district. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows: Section 1: That the land and territory shown and legally des- cribed in the attached Exhibit A, which Exhibit is a Plat of Annexa- tion prepared and certified by Gremley and Biedermann, Inc., Illinois Land Surveyors, which Exhibit is incorporated herein by reference and made part of this Ordinance, which land is totally bounded by the exis- ting Village limits, and is not within the limits of any municipality, be and is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village so that hereafter that territory shall be included within the boundary lines and limits of said Village. Section 2: That th Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and is hereby directed to record a Certified Copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois. Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. PASSED this 5th day of August , 1975. Zettek VILLAGE PRESIDENT EXHIBIT "A" Legal Description That part of the east half of the southeast quarter of Section 29, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows_ Beginning at a point in the center line of State Road (Arlington Heights Road) 39.15 feet southerly and 143.60 feet easterly of the southwest corner of the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of said Section 29; thence easterly along fence 556.00 feet to a point 72.50 feet south of the south line of the north- east quarter of the southeast quarter of said Section 29; thence North along Willow hedge forming an angle of 86 degrees,46 feet,10 inches from west to north with the last mentioned property line 494.19 feet to center _ line of State Road (Arlington Heights Road); thence westerly along center line of State Road (Arlington Heights Road), forming an angle of 86 degrees 34 feet, 40 inches from south to west with last mentioned line, 524.27 feet to an angle in State Road (Arlington Heights Road); thence southerly along the center line of State Road (Arliriq:on Heights Road) 450.89 feet to the place of beginning (Except therefrom the west 33 feet and except the north 33 feet) all in Cook County, Illinois.
