AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE FROM B-1, BUSINESS DISTRICT TO B-2, BUSINESS DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, acting as a Zoning Commission, at a public hearing duly called and held according to law considered the question of rezoning certain property legally described hereinafter from B-1, Business District to B-2, Business District; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Commission find and believe that such a rezoning is in the best interest of the Village. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows: Section 1: That the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, (Ordinance No. 842) be and the same is hereby amended by rezoning the following described property to B-2, Business District: That part of Lot 4 in Arthur B. Scharringhausen's Resubdivision of Part of Sections 21 and 22, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian and that part of Lot 54 in Higgins Road Commercial Subdivision Unit No. 2, being a subdivision in the West half of said Section 22, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 79 in Higgins Road Commercial Subdivision Unit No. 49, being a resubdivision in Sections 21 and 22 aforesaid; thence east on the South line of said lot, 200.0 feet to the Southeast corner of said lot; thence South on the West line of Lot 23 in Higgins Road Commercial Subdivision Unit No. 17, being a resubdivision in the West half of said Section 22 and the West line of Lot 1 in Higgins Road Commercial Subdivision Unit No. 6, being a resubdivision in the West half of said Section 22, 198.29 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 1; thence westerly on the original Northerly line of Higgins Road 201.96 feet to the East line of Gaylord Street; thence North on the East line of Gaylord Street 170.13 feet to the place of beginning (Except the Southerly 17.0 feet thereof) in Cook County, Illinois., subject to the condition that the use to be permitted on said property shall be limited to those uses permitted in the B-1, Business District. Section 2: That the Village Clerk be and is hereby directed to amend the Official Zoning Map of the Village so that the zoning classification provided herein is reflected on said map. Section 3: That the property shall be subject to all restric- tions, requiements and regulations of the B-2, Business District, except as otherwise provided herein, as set forth in the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village. Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. PASSED this 12th day of November , 1975.
