HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1028 - 11/12/1975 - ZONING VARIATION/KENT AVEORDINANCE NO. 0 1 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION TO THE AMALGAMATED TRUST AND SAVINGS BANK AS TRUSTEE UNDER TRUST NO. 2063 (GAINES) FOR PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE TRITON INDUSTRIAL PARK, ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILLINOIS. WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Articles 3.52, 5.1 and 5.81(g) of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after considering the recommendations of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe it to be in the best interests of the Village that such variation be granted. NC -V, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows: Section 1: That a variation be granted to the Amalgamated Trust and Savings Bank as Trustee under Trust No. 2063 of Article 3.52, , Front Yard Regulations for Corner and Double Frontage Lots, Article 5.1, Dimensions, Bulk and Area Regulations in All Zoning District, and Article 5.81(g), Bulk, as it pertains to the twenty-five (25) foot setback requirement, to permit a fifteen (15) foot setback line where the property fronts on Kent Avenue (as extended) on property legally described as follows: That part of the East Half (1/2) of the Northwest Quarter (1/4) of Section 27, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: Commencing at a point on the West line of the East 99 feet of said Northwest Quarter (1/4) which point is 109.81 feet South of the North line of said Northwest Quarter (1/4) (as measured along the West line of the East 99 feet of said Northwest Quarter (1/4); thence Southwesterly along a diagonal line extending to a point on the South line of the North Half (1/2) of the North Half (1/2) of the East Half (1/2) of the Northwest Quarter (1/4) which is 576.26 feet East of the Southwest corner thereof, for a distance of 623.57 feet to the point of beginning of the tract of land herein being described, said point being the most Westerly corner of Lot 5 in Triton Industrial Park Unit 1 according to Plat thereof registered in the Office of the Registrar of Titles of Cook County, Illinois; as Document Number 2681859; thence continuing Southwesterly along said diagonal line 240.95 feet to the South line of the North half (1/2) of the North Half (1/2) of the East Half (1/2) of said Northwest Quarter (1/2); thence East along said South line to its intersection with the West line of the East Half (1/2) of the East Half (1/2) of the Northwest Quarter (1/4) of. said Section 27; thence South along said West line to the Northwest corner of Lot 6 in Triton Industrial Park Unit 1 aforesaid; thence East along the North line of said Lot 6 a distance of 270.15 feet to the West line of Bonnie Lane as dedicated by Plat registered as Document Number 2681858; thence Northerly along the West line of Bonnie Lane to the Southeast corner of Lot 5 in Triton Industrial Park Unit 1 aforesaid; thence West along South line of said Lot 5, 219.41 feet to the Place of beginning. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. PASSED this 12th day of November , 1975.
