HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 953 - 9/24/1974 - OREGON CIRCLE, VACATION OFORDINANCE NO. 953 AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE OREGON CIRCLE WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Vil- lage of Elk Grove Village, after due investigation and due con- sideration, have determined that the nature and extent of the public use and the public interest to be servedis such as to warrant the vacation of Oregon Circle in the Village of Elk Grove Village. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows: Section 1: That Oregon Circle located in the Village of Elk Grove Village and more particularly described on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein, shall be and the same is hereby vacated, closed, inas much as the street is no longer required for public use and the public interest is best served by such vacation. Section 2: That the Village Clerk be and is herebv directed to file for record in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, a certified copy of this ordinance together with a Plat of Vacation. Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. PASSED this 24th day of September , 1974. Turner VILLAGE CLERK EXHIBIT "A" That part of Oregon Circle in Winston Grove, Section 21, being a subdivision in the south half of Section 25, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying South and East of a line described as follows: Beginning at the most wes- terly corner of Lot 11 in Block 2 in Winston Grove, Section 21 aforesaid; thence southwesterly along the southwesterly extension of the northwesterly line of said Lot 11, a distance of 46.47 feet; thence along a curve concave northwesterly with a radius of 203.00 feet, an arc distance of 13.54 feet to the most north- erly corner of Lot 7 in Block 2 aforesaid, and the point of ending, all in cook County, Illinois.
