AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT
FOR A YANIT -E DOODLE RESTAURANT IN AN INDUS-
TRIAL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the owner and contract purchaser have petitioned
for the zoning of the hereinafter described real estate for a
special use permit to permit the construction of a Yankee Doddle
Restaurant thereon; and
WHEREAS, all notice of public hearing requirements have been
satisfied and the Plan Commission acting as a Zoning Commission has
recommended that a special use permit as requested be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPa�e, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That there is granted a Special Use Permit for the
purposes of constructing a Yankee Doodle Restaurant on property
legally described as follows:
Reliance re -subdivision of part of Lot 4 in Higgins re-
subdivision (recorded April 11, 1966 as Document 19792047)
in the SE is of Section 26, Township 41 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois,
Section 2: That if the aforementioned restaurant is not fully
constructed within two (2) years from date hereof said Special Use
Permit shall be deemed void and of no further force and effect.
Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation who violates,
disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with, or who resists
the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance, shall
upon conviction thereof, be fined not less than Five Dollars ($5.00)
nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each and every
offense. A separate offense small be deemed conunitted on each day a
violation occurs or continues.

Section 4: ' That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication, according to law.
