HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 967 - 12/10/1974 - ZONING VARIATION/1825 GREENLEAFr ORDINANCE NO. / ("� AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A FRONT YARD SET -BACK VARIATION TO HOBART/McINTOSH PAPER COMPANY FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1825 GREENLEAF AVENUE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public meeting duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a set -back variation to permit the construction of an addition on property legally described hereinafter, and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after considering the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe it to be in the best interests of the Village that such a set -back variation be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows: Section 1: That a front yard set -back variation be granted to Hobart/McIntosh Paper Company on property legally described as follows: The West One Hundred Fifty (150) feet of the East 443.10 feet of Lot nineteen (19) in Centex Industrial Park Unit 4, being -a Subdivision in Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to Plat of said Centex Industrial Park Unit 4 registered in the Office of the Registrar of Titles of Cook County, Illinois, on November 2, 1959 as Document Number 1894159. ALSO The EaS' 293.10 feet of Lot Nineteen in Centex Industrial Park Unit 4 (hereinafter described) (excepting therefrom that part thereof bounded and described as follows: Begin- ning at the Northeast corner of said Lot 19; thence West along the North line of said lot 19 a distance of 293.1 feet to a point on the West line of said East 293.1 feet aforesaid; thence South along said West line a distance of 20 feet to a point; thence Northeasterly along a straight line a distance of 293.78 feet more or less to the point of beginning) in Centex Industrial Park Unit 4, being a Subdivision in Section 35, Township 41 North, -Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to Plat of said Centex Industrial Park Unit 4 registered in the office of the Registrar of Titles of Cook County, Illinois on November 2, 1959, as Document Number 1894159. To permit the construction of a building addition encroaching nineteen feet and eleven inches (19'11") into front yard thereby leaving a front yard set -back of five feet and one inch, (5'1"). Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
