AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION TO PERMIT A
PENCE IN A FRONT YARD TO MR. AND MRS. RICHARD
OAKES FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT.298 SMETIIWICK LANE
AT CHELMSFORD LANE IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public meeting
duly called and held according to law, considered,the question of
granting a set back variation, thereby permitting the construction
of a fence in the front yard on property legally described.hereinafter,
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, after considering the recommendation of said
Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe it to be in the best
interests of the Village that such a variation be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That a fence variation be granted to Mr. and
Mrs. Richard Oakes to permit the construction of a six foot (6')
chain link fence with slats in the front yard per Exhibit attached
on property legally described as follows:
Lot 4770 in Elk Grove Village Section 16, being a
subdivision in the south half of Section 29,
Township 41 North, Range ll, East of the Third
Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
VOTE: AYES S NAYS 0 ABSENT 1
PASSED AND APPROVED this 10th day of December 1974•
