AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 512, NO PARKING AREAS, OF CHAPTER 14,
TRAFFIC, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGF
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois,
as follows:
Section 1: That paragraph 49 of Section 512 of Chapter 14 of the
Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be amended to read as
follows:
"49. On both sides of Estes Avenue for a distance of
401 feet West of its intersection with Elmhurst Road."
Section 2: That Section 512 be amended by adding thereto two
additional paragraphs, 74 and 75, which additional paragraphs shall read
as follows:
1174. On the northeast side of Old Higgins Road, beginning
at a point 303.47' westerly from the centerline of
Elmhurst Road and its intersection with Old Higgins
Road, for a distance of 204', which is the frontage
of the Manaves Annexation."
"75. On the southwest side of Old Higgins Road, beginning
at a point 303.47' westerly from the centerline of
Elmhurst Road and its intersection with Old Higgins
Road, for a distance of 636.83', which is the frontage
of the Continental Can Company to the point of inter-
section with Touhy Avenue, in Elk Grove Village."
Section 3: That any person, firm or corporation violating this ordinance
shall be fined not less than $5.00 nor more than $200.00 for each offense, and each
day a violation occurs or continues shall be a separate offense.
Section 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and publication, according to law.
