OF THE Bt!ILD_rNG CODE OF 'i'ITE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE
VILLAGE, TIlrlUiPY REQUIRING FOUNDiATION ELEVATIONS
TO BE PROVIDED T11FIEIN.
NOW, TIIERE'I'ORE, BL' IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section].: That Section 13.308, PLOT DIAGRAM, of the Building
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village as amended, be and the
same is hereby further amended to read as follows:
13.304 (amended) PLOT DIAGRAM, -
Section 113.6, Plot Diagram, is amended as follows and to
include the following as the first sentence in the section:
113.6 Plot Plan and Survey
In addition to the requirements below, evidence shall be
furnished to the Building Commissioner that the intended
building site is a lot of record as well as a plat of survey of
said lot prepared by a licensed Illinois Land Surveyor.
Except for additiony to single family residences and their
accessory structures, the Building Commissioner shall be
provided with a plat of survey showing the location of said
subsurface improvements in reference to property lines and
other structures located on the same property under
development and the elevation of subservice improvements per
U S G S datum , prior to proceeding with above -ground
improvements, perparcd by a licensed Illinois Land Surveyor.
Section 2: That this Ordi.ra nce shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication.
