AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO TIIE
VILLAGE; OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE (DE BRUYNE PROPERTY)
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village
Clerk of Elk Grove Village by First Arlington National Bank, being
the sole record owner of the hereinafter described land and territory
for annexation to the Village of Elk. Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Elk
Grove Village; and the sole elector residing thereon has consented to the
annexation and has signed the Annexation Petition; and
WHEREAS, all applicable provisions of Illinois Revised
Statutes concerning the annexation have been fully complied with, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board. of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, have
examined said petition and believe it to be in the best interest
of the Village that said land and territory be annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That the land and territory shown and legally
described as Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated and made
a part of this ordinance, which territory is contiguous to the
Village of Elk Grove Village, and is not within the limits of any
municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of
Elk Grove Village, so that hereafter said territory shall be included
within the boundary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law
in such case made and provided.
Section 2: That said property is annexed pursuant to the
terms and provisions of Resolution No. 32-75 heretofore adopted
by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove
Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this
ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory with the
Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Secti.on 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval, according to law.
