AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SIGN VARIATION TO
ELK GROVE DRUGS, INC.
WHEREAS, Elk Grove Drugs, Inc., has petitioned the Village
of Elk Grove Village for a sign variation to permit a wall sign
with 230 square feet of surface area which amount of surface area
for a sign exceeds that provided for by ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the owner and lessee of the premises at 11 Park
'N' Shop have demonstrated a sufficient practical hardship to
justify such a variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage
Counties, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That Elk Grove Drugs, Inc., for the location
at 11 Park 'N' Shop, Elk Grove Village, Illinois is hereby
granted a variation to permit a wall sign with 230 square feet
of surface area, said sign to be constructed in accordance with
Plan No. 2148 of Acme Wiley Corporation, dated February 24, 1975
setting forth the dimensions and description of the sign.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
VOTE: AYES 6 NAYS 0 ABSENT_
PASSED this 22nd day of April , 1975.
