AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
(SBL PROPERTY)
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village Clerk
of the Village of. Elk Grove Village by the River Forest State Bank
and Trust Company as Trustee under Trust No. 1688 being the record
owner and by SBL Associates, developer and contract purchasers of the
hereinafter described land and territory for annexation to the Village
of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Elk
Grove Village and has no electors residing thereon; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within any fire protec-
tion district or library district i.n need of notification in
accordance with State Statutes; and
WHEREAS, all statutory requirements in reference to the annexa-
tion have been fully complied with and the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village believe it to be to the best interest of the
Village that said land and territory be annexed thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties,
Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That the land and tertitory shown and legally
described on Exhibit A attached, which exhibit is incorporated by
reference and made a part of this ordinance and which territory is
contiguous to the Village and not within the limits of any other
municipality be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk
Grove Village so that said territory be i.ncluded within the boundary
limits of said Village as is by law in such case made and provided.
Section 2: That said property described in Exhibit A is
annexed pursuant to a Pre -Annexation Agreement which agreement
was adopted by Resolution No. 38-75 passed by the Village Board.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk of Elk Grove Village is
directed to record a certified copy of this Ordinance together
with an actual plat of said territory with the Recorder of Deeds
of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF ENTIRE TRACT
That part of the South half of Section 31, Township 41 North, Range 11, East
of the Third Principal Meridian, Described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest
corner of said Section 31; thence East on a line between Cook and DuPage Counties
47.66 chains; Thence North 20 chains; Thence East 8.34 chains; to the East line
of said Section; Thence North 10.46 chains; Thence West 54.50 chains to the
West line of said Section; Thence South 30.50 chains to the place of beginning
(excepting therefrom the South 225 feet of the West 225 feet thereof; and excepting
