NOW, THERE"ORE, BE IT C,D,1r::ED by t.':e President and Board of
Trustees of t1:e 1.1i11ago of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 6.101, as a-!onded, of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and is hereby
further amended to read as follows:
6.101 Est=blish.-en.t. There is hereby created and established
a Department of the Municipal Government of the Village of
Elk Grove Village which shall be known as the Fire Depart:ent,
Said Department shall consist of the following fu11-time
personnel, and such other personnel as may be provided from
time to time by the President and Board of Trustees.
One (1) Fire Chief
Three (3) Captains
Twelve (12) Lieutenants
Two (2) Fire Engineers
Fifty -One (51) Firefighters
'Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
PASSED this 14th day of May 1974.
APPROVED this 140 day of May 1974.
