IN THE ELK GROVE VILLAGE POLICE' DEPART."!:;T
NMI, THEREFORE, DE IT ORDAINED by the President and Hoard of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 5.001, as amended, of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and is hereby
further amended to read as follars:
5.001 Creation. There is hereby created a Police Department,
an executive department of the Village. The Police Department
shall consist of the following full-time personnel, and such
other personnel as may be provided from tine to time by the
President and Board of Trustees, as follo:Ws:
One (1) Chief of Police
Three (3) Lieutenants
Eight (8) Sergeants
Forty -Three (43) Patrolmen
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and.approval according to law.
