AN ORDINANCE REZONING PAPERTX LOCATED AT THE
NORTHWEST CORNER OF MARTIN LANE AND HIGGINS
ROAD IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE FROM I-1, RESTRICTED
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, TO B-1, BUSINESS DISTRICT
AND REZONING ADJACENT PROPERTY FROM B-1,
BUSINESS DISTRICT TO I-1, RESTRICTED INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
sitting as a zoning commission, at a public meeting duly called and
held according to law, considered the question of reclassifying
certain real estate hereinafter described from I-1 Restricted
Industrial District to B-1, Business District and reclassifying
adjacent real estate hereinafter described from B-1 to I-1; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, having
considered the recommendation of said Zoning Commission, find and
believe that the highest and best use of said real estate is that
of B-1, Business and I-1, Restricted Industrial, respectively;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That an ordinance entitled,"Elk Grove Zoning
Ordinance", passed and approved December 19, 1972, known as Ordinance
No. 842, as amended, be further amended by reclassifying the real
estate hereinafter described from I-1 to B-1:
That part of Lot 7 lying South of a line 300 feet South of
and parallel to the North line of Lot 7, as measured on
the East line of Said Lot 7, in Mayfair Industrial Park
Unit No. 2, being a subdivision in the West half of Section
22, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Merid-
ian according to the plat thereof recorded in the Office
of the Recorder of Deeds on December 19, 1973 as Document
No. 22575818, in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That an ordinance entitled, "The Elk Grove Village
Zoning Ordinance", passed and approved December 19, 1972, known as
Ordinance No. 842, as amended, be further amended by reclassifying
the real estate hereinafter described from B-1 to I-1:
That part of Lot 12, lying North of a line 300 feet South of
and parallel to the North line of Lot 7, as measured on the
East line of said Lot 7, in Mayfair Industrial Park Unit No. 2,
being a subdivision in the West half of Section 22, Township
41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian
according to the plat thereof recorded in the Office of the
Recorder of Deeds on December 19, 1973 as Document No.
22575818, in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk be and is hereby directed
to amend the official zoning map of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
so that the zoning reclassifications provided herein are reflected
on said map.
Section 4: That said real estate as reclassified shall be
subject to all limitations and conditions placed on properties
in the I-1 and B-1 classifications respectively as defined in the
ordinance aforementioned.
Section 5: That any person, firm or corporation who violates,
disobeys, neglects or refuses to comply with or resists the
enforcement of any provision of this ordinance shall be fined not
less than $5.00 nor more than $500.00 for each offense, and each day
a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 6: That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 7: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication,
according to law.
