AN ORDINANCE APPROVING T11E REVISED PRELIMINARY
SITE PLAN FOP, PROPERTY SUBJECT TO A-2 ZONING
FOR 'I'IIE DEVELOPMENT OP' SENIOR CITIZENS .HOUSING
AND GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT THEREFORE,
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village
has conducted a public hearing duly called and held according to law
to review a revised prel.i-nri.nary site plan for property to be developed
pursuant to A-2 Special Use Planned Development Zoning .f:or the deve-
lopment of senior citizens housing, and has submitted its recommen-
dation on such revised plan to the President and Board of Trustees; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of. Trustees, having reviewed
said recommendations find and believe that the granting of a special
use permit whereby said properly shall be developed and occupied as a
planned development for senior citizens housing pursuant to the revised
plan is in the best interests of the Village.
NOW, TIiEREF'ORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of.
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section l: That the Revised Preliminary Site Plan attached
hereto as Exhibit. A, and incorporated herein which Plan was prepared
by I3olabird and Root, Architects, dated April 18, 1974 and revised
May 18, 1974; June 26, 1974 and July 1, 1974, j -)e and is hereby approved
Section 2: That there is hereby granted to the property
legally described on the attached Exhibit A a special use permit
whereby said property shall be developed and occupied as a planned
development for senior citizen housing pursuant to th- Revised
Preliminary Site Plan approved herein..
Section 3: The Village Clerk is hereby authorized to
publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
