AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT
TO THE ILLINOIS BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY TO
ERECT A 100 FT, MONOTUBE, SELF-SUPPORTING
ANTENNA POLE, ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 10
NORTH SCOTT STREET, ELK CROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission, sitting as a Zoning Commission,
conducted a public hearing duly called and held according to law,
to consider the question of granting a special use permit to the
Illinois Bell Telephone Company for the construction of a 100
ft. monotube, self-supporting antenna pole, on property legally
described hereafter; and
WHEREAS, thQ President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, after reviewing the recommendations of said
Plan Commission, find and believe that the granting of said special
use permit is in the best interests of the Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That a special use permit be granted to the
Illino's Bell Telephone Company, as authorized in Section 3,32,
Special Uses in all Districts, of the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, to permit the construction of a
100 ft. monotube, self-supporting an;.enna pole on property commonly
k nown as 10 North Scott Street, and legally described as follows:
Lot 1(except the southerly 17 ft, thereof) in
Higgins Road Conunercial Subdivision, Unit 1,
being a subdivision in the west 1/2 of Section 22,
Township 41 North, Ranue 11 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois,
according to plat filed May 14, 196', in the
Office of the Registrar of Titles of Cook Co.,
Illinois as Document No. LR 1795729, and recorded
in the Recorder's office of Cook County, Ill.
as Document No. 172.04943, in Cook County, Illinois.
Section -2: That the total height of the antenna pole,
including tower and antenna, shall not exceed 118 feet.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication accord-
ing to law.
