AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13.308
PLAT DIAGRAM, OF ARTICLE III, BUILDING
CODE, OF CHAPTER 3, BUILDING, ELECTRICITY
AND PLUMBING
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cool: and DuPage
Counties, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That Section 13.308, Plat Diagram of Article III,
Building Code, of Chapter 13, Building, Electricity and Plumbing,
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 13.308, Plat Diagram. Section 113.6, Plat
Diagram is amended as follows; and to include the following
as the first sentence in the section:
113.6 Plat Plan and Survey:
In addition to the requirements below, evidence shall
be furnished to the Building Commissioner that the intended
building site is a lot of record as well as a plat of sur-
vey on said lot prepared by a licensed Illinois Land
Surveyor. For all other additions to single family
residences and their accessory structures, the Building
Commissioner shall be provided with a plat of survey
showing the location of said service improvements in
reference to property lines and other structures located
on the same property under development, prior to proceeding
with above -ground improvements, prepared by a licensed
Illinois Land Surveyor.
Section 2: Any person, firm or corporation violating any
provision of this ordinance shall be fined not less than $5.00, nor
more than $500 for each offense, and a separate offense shall be
deemed committed on each day during or on which the violation occurs
or continues.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, according
to law.
