HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 875 - 8/7/1973 - REZONE/BRUMMEL & RT 83ORDINANCE NOo AN ORDINANCE: REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE SOUTME ST CORNER OF BRUL::EL AVENUE AND STATE ROUTE 83 (BUSSE' ROAD), FROM I -1r RESTRICTED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO D-2, BUSINESS DISTRICT WHEREAS, the Plan commission of the Village of Elk Grove Villagez sitting as a zoning ccamission, at a public meeting duly called and held according to law,. considered the question of reclassifying certain .real estate hereinafter described from I-1 'Lo B-2; and WHEREAS= the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village: Counties of Cook and DuPage have considered the recommendation of said Zoning Commissions and find and believe that the highest and best use of said real estate is that of B-2; NOWt, THEREFORre BE IT ORDAINED= by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois= as follows: Section 1: That an ordinance entitled "ELK GROVE VILLAGE ZONING ORDINANCE" passed and approved December 19, 1972; known as Ordinance No, 842 be amended by reclassify'_ng the real estate hereafter described from I-1 to B-2: That par.L of the northeast quarter of Section 27r Township 41 Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as beginning at the southwest corner of State Route 83 and Brummel Avenue and running thence West along the south line of r—,ummel Avenue 435.12; thence south at right angles to said south line of Brummel Avenue 229,99 feet to the north line of Lot 149 in Higgins Industrial Park Unit 102= being a. subdivision in t.h� northeast quarter of said Section 27; thence east along said north line of Lot 149, 434,48 feet to the northeast corner of said lot 149; thence north along the west lane of State Route 83, 230.00 feet to the place of beginnin<;, in Cook County, Illinois, i Section 2: That the Village Clerk be and is hereby directed to amend the official. Zoning Map of the Village of Elk Grove so that the zoning reclassification provided herein is reflected on said map. Section 3: That said real estate, as reclassified, shall be subject to all limitations and conditions placed upon properties in the B-2 classification, as defined in the ordinance aforementioned. Section 4: That any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, or refuses to comply with or resists the enforcement of any provision of this ordinance shall be fined not more than $100.00 for each offense, and each day a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense, ,Section 5: That all Ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 6: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, according to law.
