HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 885 - 9/4/1973 - REZONE/TONNE S. OF PRATT/f ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED ON TONNE ROAD SOUTH. OF PRATT BOULEVARD FROM I-2, GENERAL INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, to I-1, RESTRICTED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, sitting as a Zoning Commission, at a public meeting duly called and held according to law, considered the question of reclassifying cer- tain real estate hereinafter described from I-2 to I-1; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Commission, find and believe that the highest and best use of said real estate is that of I-1; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows: Section 1: That an ordinance entitled, Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance, passed and approved December 19, 1972, known as Ordinance No. 842, be amended by reclassifying the real estate hereinafter described from I-2 to I-1. The West Quarter (as determined by taking the west quarter of the dimensions on the north and south lines) of the south 163.94' of the north half of the southwest quarter of Section 34, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, except the south 15 ft. of the west quarter (as determined ::y taking the west quarter of the dimensions on the north and south lines) of the south 163.94' of the north half of the southwest quarter of said Section 34, and except the wAst 100 ft. thereof, as measured perpendicularly, all in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That the Village Clerk be and is hereby directed to amend the official Zoning Map of the Village of Elk Grove Village so that the zoning reclassification provided herein is reflected on said map. Section 3: That said Real Estate,as reclassified, shall be subject to all limitations and conditions placed upon properties in the I-1 classification, as defined in the ordinance aforementioned. Section 4: That any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with, or resists the enforcement of any provision of this ordinance, shall be fined not more than $100 for each offense, and each day a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. Section 5: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 6: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, ac- cording to law. PASSED this 4th day of September 1973.
