DISTRICT, TO B-1, BUSINESS DISTRICT AND
REZONING ADJACENT PROPERTY FROM B-1,
BUSINESS DISTRICT TO I-1, RESTRICTED
INDUSTRIAh DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, sitting as a zoning commission, at a public meeting duly
called and held according to law, considered the question of re-
classifying certain real estate hereinafter described from I-1 to
B-1, and reclassifying adjacent real estate hereinafter described
from B-1 to I-1; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, having
considered the recommendation of said Zoning Commission, find and
believe that the highest and best use of said real estate is that
of B-1 and I-1, respectively;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That an ordinance entitled, "Elk Grove Zoning
ordinance", passed and approved December 19, 1972, known as Ordinance
No. 812, be amended by reclassifying the real estate hereinafter
described from I-1 to B-1,
That part of the East 250 feet of the [Test 571 feet of the
East 1103.19 feet (tis measured on the north line thereof)
of the west half of Section 2.2, Township S1 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying northerly of the
centerline of II_i.ggins Road and lying south of a line drawn at
right. angles to the east line of said west 571 feet from a
point 550 feet(as measured along said East linc)North of the
centerline of said road, descri-iced as fol.lo':rs: Beginning at a
point on thcc East: line of the staid WosL- 5"il feet, being 333.0
fceL, as inez,❑ured alonq the said East _line, northerly of the

distance of 1.27.29 feet;
thence Eastward along a line drawn at right angles to
the said East line, a distance of 125.03 feet to a
point on the said East line of the said West 571 feet;
thence southward along the said East line a distance of
23.90 feet to the point of beginning, in Cook County,
Illinois
Section 2: That an ordinance entitled, "The Elk Grove
Village Zoning Ordinance", passed and approved December 19, 1972,
known as Ordinance No. 842, be amended by reclassifying the real
estate hereinafter described from B-1 to I-1:
That part of the East 250 feet of the lest 571 feet of the
East 1103.19 feet (as measured on the north line thereof) of
the west half of Section 22, Township 41 north, Range 11
.East of th-? Third Principal meridian, lying northerly of the
centerline of Higgins Road and lying south of a line drawn
at right angles to the east line of said vest 571 feet, from
a point 550 feet (as measured alon5 said East line) north of
the centerline of said road, described as follows: Beginning
at a point on the west line of said east 250 feet being
333.00 feet, as measured along the said Brest line, northerly
of the centerline of Higgins Road; thence southeasterly along
a line being parallel with the said centerline of Higgins
Road, a distance of 127.24 feet; thence westward along a line
drawn at right angles to the said west line, a distance of
124.97 feet to a point on the said west line of the said
East 250 feet; thence northward along the said west line, a
distance of 23.89 feet to the point of beginning, in Cook
County, Illinois.
Section 3: That the Villace Clerk be and is hereby directed
to amend the official, zoning map of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
so that the zoning reclassifications provided herein are reflected
on said map.
Section 4: That said real estate as reclassified shall be
subject to all limitations and conditions placed on properties in the
I-1 and B-lclassifications.respectively as defined in the ordinance
aforementioned.

Section 5: That any person, firm or corporation who
violates, disobeys, neglects or refuses to comply with or resists
the enforcement of any provision of this ordinance shall be fined
not more than $100 for each offense, and each day a violation is
permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 6: That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 7: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, according,
to law.
