AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village by PARKWAY BANK, TRUSTEE

UNDER TRUST NO, 1951, MATTHEW AND PEN'ELOPE MANAVES, AND WILLIAM AXD
TASIA KOTSIOS, as record owners of the hereinafter described land
and territory and no electors reside on said land for annexation
to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS* said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of
Elk Grove Village, and has no electors residing thereon; and
WHEREAS, all applicable provisions of Article VII of Chapter 24
of the Illinois Revised Statutes (1971) concerning the annexation
of contiguous property by municipalities have been complied with and
adhered to; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the. Village of
Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, have ex-
amined said petition and believe it to be in the best interests of
the Village that said land and territory be annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINTT), by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, as follows;
Section 1: That the land and territory shown and legally
described in the Plat of Annexation attached hereto as Exhibit A
and incorporated and made a part of this ord_.nance, which territory
is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and is not within
the limits of any municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed
to the Village of Elk Grove Village, so that hereafter said
territory shall be included within the boundary lines and limits
of said Village, as is by law in such case made and. provided.
Section 2: That said property, as annexed, is pursuant
to the terms and provisions of the Elk Grove Village Zoning
Ordinance, No. 842, and the Village of Elk Grove Village Official
Map adopted by Ordinance No. 570 on October 22, 1968, hereby
included in the B-J.Zoning District.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk
Grove Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy of
this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory
with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 4: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval, according to law.

Commencing at the Northeast corner of Section 35, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Maridian, running thence South
in center of road 01 links + (35,31 feet), thence South 68 degrees
West along North line of School lot 3.46 chains = (228.36 feet) to
center of road; thence North 41 degrees West along center of road
3,05::; chains = (201.63 feet); thence North 68 degrees East 5.64 chains
= (372.24 feet) to East line of Section 26, in center of road; thence
South 2.58 chains = (170,28 feet) to place of beginning (Except that
part lying North of Center line of Touhy Avenue).
