AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING 25 ACRES (SLOUGH PROPERTY)
TO THE VILLAGE OF ELIC GROVE VILLAGE PER ANNEXA-
TION AGREEMENT (PROPERTY ZONED I-1 UPON ANNEXA-
TION PER ELK GROVE VILLAGE ZONING ORDINANCE AND
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.)
WHEREAS, a written petition requesting annexation has been
filed with the Village of Elk Grove Village by Harris Trust and
Savings Bank, as Trustee under Trust No. 32669, dated March 3,
19,67; and
WHEREAS, an annexation agreement dated December 26, 1973 has
been entered into between Harris Trust and Savings Bank, as Trustee
under Trust No. 32669, dated March 3, 1967, and Slough Parks, Inc.,
a Delaware corporation, and the Village of Elk Grove Village, pro-
viding for the annexation of the hereinafter described property, in
accordance with the said agreement, which agreement is hereinafter
referred to as "The Agreement"; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of the municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Elk
Grove Vil.lage, and has no electors residing thereon; and
WHEREAS, notice has been given to the Elk Grove Rural Fire
Protection District ten days in advance of taking action, in ac-
cordance with the statutes made and provided, of the Village's intent
to annex said property; and
WHEREAS, the President zn d Board of Trustees of the Village. of
Elk Grove Village, Cook wnd DuPage Counties, Illinois, have examined
and executed uaid agreement and relieve it to be in the best interests
of tnie Village that said land anti territory be annexed thereto;
. NOW, 'CHER-61ORr, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, as follows:
Section 1: That the land and territory shown and legally
described in the attached Exhibit A, which exhibit is incorporated
herein by reference and made a part of this ordinance, which land
is contiguous to the Village and not within the limits of any
municipality, be and is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove
Village, in accordance with "The Agreement", so that hereafter said
territory shall be included within the boundary lines and limits of
said Village.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk
Grove Village is directed to record a certified copy of this
ordinance, together with an accurate plat of said territory,with
the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval, according to
law.

EXHIBIT A
The South 920.24 feet as measured along the East line of a 200,0 foot strip of
land conveyed to the County of Cook by Deed recorded January 12, 1939 as
Document No. 12259408, of that part of the West 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of
Section 26, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian
lying Southerly and Westerly of the center line of Higgins Road, East of the
East line of said 200.0 foot strip of land and lying Northerly of a line drawn
at right angles to the East line of said 200 Foot strip of land from a point
on said East line of said 200 foot strip of land, 1957.80 feet South, as
measured along the East line of said 2oo foot strip of land, of the North
line of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 26, excepting therefrom the East
30.0 feet measured at right angles to the East line thereof, in Cook County,
Illinois
