HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 843 - 1/2/1973 - ZONING VARIATION/WELL NO. 7ORDINANCE NO. 843 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERMITTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN EIGHT FOOT HIGH SECURITY FENCE AT WELL #7 WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public meeting duly held and called according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of the Zoning Ordinance, thereby per- mitting the Village of Elk Grove Village to construct an eight - foot high security fence at property legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, no objections were raised at said hearing; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after considering the recommendations of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe it to be in the best interests of the Village; that such a variation be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows: SECTION 1: That a variation of those portions of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village which pro- hibits the construction of any fence over six feet in height, and placement of barbed wire on the top of any fence be granted to the Village of Elk Grove Village, so as to permit the con- struction of an eight foot high security fence with barbed wire on the top at property legally described as follows: That part of Lot 5204 in Elk Grove Village, Section 17, being a subdivision in Sections 25 and 36,Township 41, North Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, according to law.
