AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING TOUHY AVENUE A ONE-WAY
STREET, IN PART
NOW, THEREFORE,,BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, as follows:
Section l: That section 14.206 of the Municipal Code of
the Village of Elk Grove Village be amended by adding thereto the
following:
"That the following streets, or portions thereof,
be designated one-way streets in the direction noted:
(a) Touhy Avenue, from Busse Ave, to -Nicholas Blvd.
on the East; One way eastbound only.
(b) Touhy Avenue from Busse Avenue to Lively Blvd.;
one-way - westbound only
Section 2: That the enforcement of this ordinance be and is
hereby subject to the obtainment of all required consents from the
State of Illinois and County of Cook, which should be sought and ob-
tained by the Chief of Police.
Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation who violates,
disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who r€sists
the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be
fined not less than $5.00 nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00)
for each offense, and each day a violation is permitted to exist shall
constitute a separate offense.
Section 4: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, according
to law,
