AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 11,
ARTICLE III, SECTION 11.308 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE PERTAINING TO
STREETS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Vilkge, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, as follows:
Section 1: That Chapter 11, Article III (Excavations),
Section 11.308 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove
Village be and ha reby is amended by adding thereto the following
between the third and fourth paragraphs of said section:
"Any person, firm or corporation making an excavation
in a landscaped area of the right of way which is
damaged or disturbed shall restore said landscaped area
to its original condition. All grassed areas shall be
replaced with sod."
Section 2: Any person, firm or corporation who violates,
disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists
the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be
fined not less than $5.00 nor more than $200 for each offense, and
each day a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a
separate offense.
Section 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, ac-
cording to law.
