AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING U-TURNS ON BUSSE
ROAD AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS IN THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page,
Illinois, as follows:
Section l: That Section 14.310 "U -Turns", of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following language:
"No operator of any vehicle shall make a U-turn on
Busse Road at its intersection with Devon, Pratt,
Greenleaf, Touhy, Landmeier or Howard Street.
Section 2: The Village Manager, or such department head as
he shall designate, shall, with the authority of the Village, make
request of the Illinois State Highway Department for the posting of
said intersections with appropriate "No -U -Turn" signs.
Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation violating the
above Section 14.310 shall be fined not less than $5.00, nor more
than $500.00 for each violation.
Section 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its approval, passage and publication, according to law.
