AN ORDINANCE VACATING CAROL PLACE
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, after due investigation and due considera-
tion, have determined that the nature and extent of the public
use and the public interest to be subserved is such as to warrant
the vacation of Carol Place in the Village of Elk Grove Village,
and further described on Exhibit A to this ordinance, which is
incorporated herein and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS CENTEX CORPORATION has petitioned for the vacation
of Carol Place;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Presidentand Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, as follows:
Section 1: That such portion of Carol Place located in
the Village of Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter
on E,-hibit A, shall be and the same is hereby vacated, closed,
inasmuch as said street is no longer required for the public use,
and the public interest would be best served by such vacation.
Section 2: Be it further ordained that the Village Clerk
be and is hereby directed to file for record in the office of
Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinios a certified copy of
this ordinance with an accompanying plat of vacation.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval, according to law.

AN ORDINANCE VACATING CAROL PLACE
That part of Carol Place as dedicated in Elk Grove Section
1 North, BEING a subdivision in the Southeast 1/4 of
Section 21, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, lying southerly of the southerly line
of Lot 1, lying westerly of the westerly line of Lot 20,
lying northerly of the northerly line of Oakwood Drive, and
lying easterly of the easterly line of Arlington Heights,
Road, all in Elk Grove Village, Section 1 North, aforesaid,
in Cook County, Illinois.
