AN ORDINANCE RE -ZONING WILD 01IK. PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE VILLAGE OF ELI: GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, sitting as a Zoning Commission at a public meeting duly
called and held according to law considered the question of reclassi-
fying the real estate hereinafter described from Rr-1 to A-2.
AND, WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, having considered the recommendation
of said Zoning Commission, find and believe that the highest and
best use of said real estate is that of A-2.
NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage
Counties, Illinois:
Section 1: That an ordinance entitled "An Ordinance to
Regulate and Limit the Height and Bulk of Buildings; to Regulate
and Limit the Intensity of the Use of Lot Areas, and to Regulate
and Determine the Areas of Open Space within and surrounding such
Buildings; to Classify, Regulate and Restrict the Location of
Trades and Industries and the Location of Buildings Designed for
Specified Industrial Business, Residential and Other Uses; to Divide
the Entire Village of Elk Grove Village into Districts for the Pur-
pose of this Ordinance; to Fix Standards to which Buildings or
Structures shall Conform; to Prohibit Uses, Buildings or Structures
Incompatible with the Character of Such Districts Respectively;
and to Prevent Additions to and Alterations or Remodeling of Existing
Buildings or Structures in such a way as to avoid the Restrictions
and Limitations Lawfully imposed hereunder, and to Provide penalties

for Violation hereof", passed and approved July 8, 1957, known as
Ordinance No. 20, as amended, be amended by reclassifying the
following described real estate from .R-1 to A-2:
PARCEL 1: The East 230 feet as measured on the South
line thereof of the South 950 feet of that part of
the South East quarter of Section 21, Township 41
North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
excepting therefrom, that part, if any, falling in
Elk Grove Village Section 1 North Subdivision re-
corded as document 16606228 and filed as document
LR 1718827, contained in a tract of land described as
follows:
Beginning at a post at the South East
corner of said Section 21, running thence
West 22 chains 40 links to a point; thence
North 10 degrees East along land owned by
Whiting and others 32 chains and 42 links
to a post in the center of road; thence
South 81 3/4 degrees East 17.40 chains to
a post in the East line of said Section
21; thence South on said East line 29.09
chains to the point of beginning, in Cook
County, Illinois.
PARCEL 2: The West 230 feet (as measured on the
South line thereof) of. the South 950 feet of the
following described tract of land: That part of
the West half of the South West quarter of Section
22, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, beginning at a post at the
South West corner of the said West half thence
East 9.76 chains to a post, thence North 27.85
chains to a post in the center of road, thence
North 81 degrees West 9.81 chains to a post at the
corner of the land ow_�ed by H. Sharinghausen on
the West line of said West half thence South 29.31
chains to the place of beginning, in Cook County,
Illinois.
(containing approximately 10 acres more or less).
Section 2: That said real estate as reclassified shall be
subject to all the limitations and conditions placed upon pro-
perties in the A-2 classifications as defined in the ordinances
aforementioned.

Section. 3: That any person, firm or corporation who violates,
disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists
the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be
fined not more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each offense,
and each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute
a separate offense.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according
to law.
