(amended.) of the Wi.cipQ Code of the Village y �r of Elk Grove Village be further amended to read as follows: +. 11.204 (amended) Specifications) Driveways across sidewalks shall be constructed in compliance with the following; A. Driveways for Residential Property: 1. Driveyays for residential property shall be constructed of either Portland. Cement Concrete or a two (2") inch asphalt surface. 2. Aprons (thea area between the property line and c nbing) shall be constructed of Portland Cement Concrete, consistin! of six (6) begs of cement per cubic yard of concrete. 3. Construction of Portland Cement Concrete shall hair a thickness of not less than five (50 inches of concrete and contain a #10 mesh wire. 4. Construction of asphalt shall have a two 2 inch this'_: surface and the thickness of the gravel or crushed stone base shall be seven (71 inches. 5. Maximum width of the driveway at the property line shall be twenty (20') feet. 6. Maximum width of the driveway at the curb shall be twenty six (261) feet. 7. All aprons shall have a minimum two (2') foot and a maximum three (3') foot flare at the curb on each side Of the driveway extending from the property line. 8. The subgrade shall ba temped or rolled until thoroughly compacted and shall be constructed true to grade. Driveways shall be constructed of either Portland Cc.ae& Concrete or an asphalt curfaue. 2. Aprons (that area between the property line and curbing) shall be constructed of•Fortland Cement Concrete. a. All aprons shall be eight (0) inches thick and the thickness of the gravel or crushed stone base shall be eight (S") inches and �f tapped dorm. b. The concrete shall be a six bag mixture. c. The apron shell contain y;o mesh wire. d. Aprons shall be poured in eight (£3") inch foxes from the property line to the curb. e.
