WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village by Chicago Title and
Trust Company, as Trustee under its Trust No. 44344, being the
sole record owner of the hereinafter described land and territory
for annexation to the Village of Elk Grove- Villacge-;� and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate.
limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of
Elk Grove Village, and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the boundaries
of any rural fire protecti-,n district; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Co and DuPage, Illinois, have
examined said petition and believe it to be to the best interest
of said Village that said land and territory be annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1: That all land and territory described in said
petition, to wit:
That part of the South=gest quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 34, TOwnsh-o 41 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Princinal. Meridian, described as
follows: COL'>'r27C!NG at the Southeast corner of said
Southwest Quarter of said Southeast quarter of Section
34; thence West on To-wnship Line 674.50 feet; thence
North parallel to the West line of the Southwest Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter of caid Section 34, 1331..72 feet
to the North line of the Southwest Quarter of the South-
east Quarter of said Section 34; thence East along the

North line of the Southwest Quarter of the
Southeast ouar.ter of said Section 34, 674.80
feet to the Northeast corner of the Southwest
Quarter of said Southeast Quarter. of Said
Section 34; thence South along the East line
of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast
quarter of Section 34, 1331..60 feet to the
place of beginning in Cook County, Illinois.
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village,
is not within the limits of any municipality, contains no electors
and is not presently in any incorporated municipality, be and the
same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk'Grove Village so
that hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary
lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made
and provided.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk of -the Village of Elk
Grove Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy of
this Ordinance together with an Mdrate plat of said territory with
the Recorder of Deeds of Cook "County, Illinois.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
