AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village by Chicago Title and
Trust Company, as Trustee under its Trust No. 44344, being the sole
record owner of the hereinafter descHbed land and territory for
annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, Lary M. Simon and Jacqueline E. Simon; Lawrence C.
Bradley and Joan N. Bradley; and Maria Goloskewitsch, the sole
electors residing on said paoperty, have joined in said petition:
for annexation; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of
Elk Grove Village, has five electors residing thereon, namely
Larry M. Simon and Jacqueline E. Simon, Lawrence C. Bradley
and Joan N. Bradley and Maria Gol.oskewitsch; and
WHEREAS, said petitioners are under oath and in all respects
comply with the requirements of the statutes in such cases made
and provided; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the boundaries
of any rural fire protection district; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board'of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, have
examined said petition and believe it to be to the best interest
of said Village that said land and territory be annexed thereto_

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINr;.D by the: President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and Dupage, Illinois:
Section 1: That all land and territory described in said
petition, to -wit:
That part of the West half of the Southwest Quarter of
the Southeast Quarter and part: of the Southeast Quarter
of the Southwest Quarter of Section 34, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described
as follows: Beginning on the South line of said Section
at a point 2614.55 Feet East of the Southwest Corner of
said Section; Thence East along the South line of said
Section, 674.80 feet; Thence North along a line parallel
to theWest line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast-
Quarter
outheastQuarter of said Section to the North line of the West half
of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said
Section; Thence West a:.ong the North line of the West
half of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast: Quarter
and along the North line of the Southeast Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter of said Section to its intersection with
a line parallel to the West line of the Southwest Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter of said Section and drawn from
the point of beginning; Thence South along the last
mentioned parallel line to the place of beginning in Cook
County, Illinois.
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village,
is not within the limits of any municipality, contains five electors
who have joined in the petition for annexation and is not presently
in any incorporated municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed
to the Village of Elk Grove Village so that hereafter said terri-
tory shall be included within the boundary lines and limits of
said Village, as is by law in such case made and provided.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk
Grove Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy of
this Ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory
with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook. County, Illinois.
