AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL
CODE TO PROVIDE FOR AUXILIARY POLICEIG:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1_ That the Municipal Code of the Village of
Elk Grove Village is amended by adding thereto the following
language:

"2.100 The President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village pursuant to
state statute are authorized to appoint
20 auxiliary policemen to serve without compen-
sation unless provided for by ordinance and at the
direction of the Chief of Police and in accordance
with the provision of state statute."
Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
PASSED and APPROVED this 21st day of October
1969.
