ORDINANCE "MENDING SECTION 22.1111 RELATING 1-0
THE NECESSITY FOR METERS ON LIMOUSINE -TYPE TAXICABS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois,
as follows:
Section l: That the first sentence of Section 22.1111 of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"22.1111 amended Rates of fare - meters.) No taxicabs shall be
operated unless it is equipped with a meter in good condition to
record the amount charged on each trip, which amount shall be
shown in figures visible to the passenger, unless such taxicab is
operated exclusively for livery or limousine services at contract
rates previously submitted and approved by the Village in which
event a meter shall not be required...."
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and erfect
from and after its passage, approval and publication as providec by law.
