NOU, TRERNVOR_,,, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That. Section 5.001, as amended, of. the Municipal
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and is hereby
further amended to read as follows:
5.001 Creation. There is hereby created a Police Department,
an executive department of the Village. The Police Department
shall consist of the foLlowing full-time personnel, and such
other personnel as may b provided from time to time by the
President and Board of Yrustees, as follows:
One (l.) Chief_ of Police
Two (2) Lieutenants -
Six (6) Sergeants
Thirty-two (32) Patrolmen
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
