WHEREAS, said land ar.d territory is not within the
corporate li.mi-ts of any municip-1i_ty but is contiguous to the
Village of Elk Grove Village; has six (6) electors residing
thereon, namely Jual Chapa, Jenoveva Chapa, Narci-see Lomas,
Guadalupe Lomas, Alan T. Severson and Phyllis A. Severson, who
have joined in said petition; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village. of U114: Grove Village, Countries of Cook and Du Page,

did authorize the President and Village Clerk to execute a pre-
annexation agreement, which agreement.; did in fact provide fox.• t.Fe
anneYat:ion of the hereinafter described property to the Vil:l.ge
of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said petitions are under oath and in all respect;
comply with the requirements of the Statutes in such cases made ane:
provided; and
WEERLAS, the President and Board of. Trustees of the
Village of I?lk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, T11i.ix,is,
have examined said petitions and believe it to be to the hest
interest of said Village that said land and territory be anr,er.ed
thereto:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and Du Page, Illinois:
Section 1: That all. land and territory described in said
petitions to wit:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION

Number 3, being z; subdivision in the West half of
said Section 22, all in Cook County, Illinois.
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove
Village, is not within the limits of any municipality, contains
six (6) electors who have joined with the record owners in a
petition for annexation and which land is not presently in any
incorporated municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to
the Village of Elk Grove Village, so that hereafter said ter-
ritory shall be included within the boundary lines and limits
of said Village, as is by law in such case made and provided.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk of the Village of
Elk Grove Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy
of this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory
with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
