OF LANDMEIER RDORDINANCE NO. 625 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the. Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village by Amalgamated Trust and Savings Bank as Trustee under Trust Agreement Nos. 2063 and 2053, Natural Gas Pipeline Company and Commonwealth Edison Co., being the sole record owners of the hereinafter described land and territory for annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and. WHEREAS, Martha Busse ani Orland Busse, the sole clect.ors residing on said pr.oper.t.,r, have joined in said petition for annexation; and WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the cor.poraLe limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village; has two electors residing thereon, namely Martha Busse and Orland Busse; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Countries of Cook and DuPage, did on the 20th day of May, 1969, author'._ze the President and Village Clerk to execute a pre -annexation agreement, which agreement did in fact provide for said annexation of the hereinafter described property to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, said petitions are under oath and in all respects comply with the requirements of the Statutes in such cases made and provided; and WHEREAS, said land and territory is riot within any rural fire protection district.; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, have examined said petitions and believe it to be to the best interest of said Village that said land and territory be annexed thereto: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois: Section 1. That all land and territory described in said petition, to -wit: Parcel I That part of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 22 and that part of. the Northwest 1/4 of Section 27, both in Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian bounded by a line described as commencing at a point on the North line of the NW 1/4 of said Section 27 99.0 feet West of the Northeast corner thereof'; thence South parallel with the East line of said North,ost 1/4, 109.81 feet to a point on the Southeasterly Line of the right of way of the Commonwealth Edison Co.; thence Southwesterly along said Southeasterly line to a poi. -it on the South line of the North 1/4 of the East 1/2 of said Northwest 1/4, 576.26 feet East of the West line of the Last 1/4 of said Northwest 1/4; thence North parallel with the East line of said North-- west 1/4 to the Northwesterly line of the right of way of the Comonwealth Edison Co.; thence Northeasterly along said Northwesterly right of way line to an intersection with a line 50 feet North of and parallel with the South line of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 22; thence East to an intersection with a line 99.0 feet West of and parallel with the East line of. the Southw,_st 1/4 of said Section 22; thence South along said parallel li.ne to the place of beginning. Parcel 2 That part of the North 1/2 of the North 1/2 of the East 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 27, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the West line of the East 99.0 feet of said Northwest 1/4, which point is 109.81 feet South of the North line of said Northwest 1/4 (as raeasured along the East 99.0 feet of said Northwest 1/4); thence Southwesterly along a diagonal line a distance of 864.52 feet to a point on the South line of said North 1/2 of the North 1/2 of the East 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 which is 576.26 feet Fast of the Southwest corner thereof; thence East along said South line a distance of 654.26 feet to the West line of the East 99.0 feet of said Northwest 1/4; thence North along the West line of said East 99.0 feet a distance of 557.03 feet to the place of beginning. -2- Parcel 3 The South 3/4 of the East 1/2 of the East 1/2 of the North- west 1/4 of Section 27, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian, (except the East 99.0 feet thereof and except the South 82.50 feet thereof). Parcel 4 The South 82.50 feet of the East 1/2 0£ the East 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 27, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian, except the East 99.0 feet thereof. Parcel 5 That part of the East- 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of the South- west 1/4 of Section 27, Township 41 North; Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian, lying North of the center line of Landmeier Road (excepting from said tract the East 99.0 feet thereof), all in Cook County, Illinois. which territory is conti.guor.s to the Village of Elk Grove Village, is not within the limits of any municipality, contains two electors and is not presently in any incorporated municipality, be. and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village so that hereafter said territory shall be i-ncluded within the boundary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made and provided. Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk. Grove Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. PASSED thisday of May, 1969. APPROVED this qday of May, 1969.
