IN THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WfIERIAS, the Plan Commissior, of the Village of Elk
Grove Village, sitting as a Zoning Commission at a public
meeting duly called and held according to law considered the
question of reclassifying the real estate here=inafter deecri.bed
from R.-1 to M-1 (?eight Industrial) .
AND, WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, having considered the rccom--
mendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe
that the highest and best use of said real estate is that of M-1.
NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINL;D by the President and
Boi:zd of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cool, and
Dulage Counties, Illinois:
Section 1.: That an ordinance entitled "An Ordinance
to Regulate and Limit the Height and Bulk of Buildings; to re-
gulate and Limit the. Intensity of the Use of Lot Areas, and to
Regulate and Determine the Areas of Open Space Within and
Surrounding Such Buildings; to Classify, Regulate and Restrict
the Location of Trades and Industries and the Location of.
Buildings Designed for Specified Industrial Business, Residential
and other uses; to Divide the Entire Village of Elk Grove Village
into Districts for the Purpose of this Ordinance; to Fix Standards
to Which Buildings or Structures shall Conform; to Prohibit Uses,
buildings or structures Incompatible with the Character of Such
Districts Respectively; and to Prevent Additions to and Alterations
or Remodeling of Existing Buildings or Structures in Such a Way
as to Avoid the Restrictions and Limitations Lawfully Imposed
Hereunder, and to Provide Penalties for Vi!lation hereof., "passed
and approved July 8, 1957 known as Ordinance No. 20, as amended,

be amended by reclassifying the following uescribed real esLaLe

R-1 to M-1
Parcel 1
That part of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 22 and that part
of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 27, both in Township 41
North, Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian bounded
by a line described as commencing at a point on the North
line of the NW 1/4 of said Section 27, 99.0 feet West of
the Northeast corner thereof; thence South parallel with
the East line of said Northwest 1/4, 109.81 feet: to a
point on the Southeasterly line of the right of way of the
Commonwealth Edison Co.; thence Southwesterly along said
Southeasterly line to a point on the South line of the
North 1/4 of the. Fast 1/2 of said Northwest 1/4, 576.26
feet East of the West line of the Fast 1/2 of said Northwest:
1/4; thence North parallel with the Ease line of said Nor(_h-
we:_ 1/4 to the Northwesterly line of the right of way of
the Coimnonwealth Edison Co.; thence Northeasterly along said
Northwesterly right of way line to an intersection with a
lire 50 feet North of and parallel with the South line of
the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 22; thence East to an
intersection with a line 99.0 feet. West of and parallel. with
the East line of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 22; thence
South along said parallel line to the place of beginning.
Parcel 2.
That part of the North 1/2 of the North 1/2 of the East 1/2
of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 27, Township 41 North, Range
Il Fast of the 3rd Principal Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the West line of the East 99.0 feet
of said Northwest 1/4, which point is 109.81 feet South of
the North line of said Northwest 1/4 (as meast):ed along the
East 99.0 feet of said Northwest 1/4); thence Southwesterly
along a diagonal line a distance of 864.52 feet to a point
on the South line of said North 1/2 of the North 1/2 of the
East 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 which is 576.26 feet East of the
Southwest corner thereof; thence East along said South line
a distance of 654.26 feet to the West line of the East 99.0
feet of said Northwest 1/4; thence North along the West line
of said East 99.0 feet a distance of 557.03 feet to the place
of beginning.
Parcel 3
The South 3/4 of the East 1/2 of the East 1/2 of the North-
west 1/4 of Section 27, Township 41 North, Range 11 East
of the 3rd Principal Meridian, (except the East 99.0 feet
thereof and except the South 82.50 feet thereof).

The South 82.50 feet of the East 1/2 of the East 1/2 of tyle North-
west 1/4 of Section 27, Township 41 North, Range 11. East of
the 3rd Principal Meridian, except the East 99.0 feet thereof.

That part of the East 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of the South--
west 1/4 of Section 27, Township 41, North, Range 11 East of
the 3rd Principal Meridian, lying North of the center line
of Landmeier Road (excepting from said tract the East 99.0
feet thereof), all in Cook County, T1linoi.s.
Section 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall.
be subject to all the limitations and conditions placed upon
properties in the M-1 classification as defined in the ordinances
aforementioned.
Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who
violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with
or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this
ordinance shall be fined not more than One Hundred ($100.00)
Dollars for each offense, and each day that a violation is per-
mitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication,
according to law.
