AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE NU:IBER OF FULL-TIME PERSONNEL IN
THE ELK GROVE VILLAGE POLICE DEPARTMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 5.001, as amended, of. the Municipal
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and is hereby
further amended to read as follows:
"5.001 Creation.) There is hereby created a Police De,)artm(,nt,
an executive department of the Village. The Police Dej)artment
shall consist of the following full-time personnel, an('. such
other personnel as may be provided from time to time by the
President and Board of Trustees.
One (1) Chief of Police
(Superintendent of Police)
One (1) Lieutenant
Six (6) Sergeants
Twenty-three (23) Patrolmen
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.
