AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE. OF ELK
GROVE VILLAGE AMENDING SECTION 14.322 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE

i WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village

of Elk Grove Village have conducted appropriate traffic studies
and believe it to be to the best interest of the Village that
this Ordinance be passed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois
Section 1. That Section 14.322 of the Municipal Code of
Elk Grove Village be amended by adding after the second paragraph
thereof the following:
"Shadywood Lane betwee., its intersection with Wildwood
Road on the southwest and its northernmost intersection
with Basswood Drive on the north be designated as a 20
miles per hour speed zone and it shall be unlawful
for any person to drive a motor vehicle in said area in
excess of said speed."
"Rockwood Drive between its intersection with Shadywood
Lane and Redwood Avenue is hereby designated as a 20
miles per hour speed zone and it shall be unlawful
for any person to drive a motor vehicle in said area in
excess of said speed."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided
for by law.
