AN.ORDINA. E PROHIBITING PARKING ON 1HURST ROAD
BETWEEN GREENLEAF AVENUE AND DEVON AVENUE IN THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, COUNTIES OF COOK
AND DUPAGE, ILLINOIS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 14.512 of the Municipal Code
of Elk Grove Village, the introductory paragraph of which reads
as follows:
"14.512 Additional no parking streets and areas). It
shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to permit
any vehicle to stand in any of the.following places, except
when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic, in com-
pliance with police direction, or to discharge passengers. Said
places in which parking is prohibited are as follows:" be and
is hereby amended by adding the following additional'15rovisions:'
37. Upon the paved or improved or main traveled part of
Elmhurst Road between Greenleaf Avenue and Devon Avenue
in the Village of Elk Grove Village.
Section 2: Every person found%guilty of violating Section
1 of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and be
punished by a fine of not less than Five Dollars ($5.00) and not
more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for each offense.
Section 3: All ordinances of this Village in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.0",,)
Section 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect after its passage, approval and publication as provAd
by law.
