AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF TAXES FOR THE CORPORATE AND MUNICIPAL PURPOSES OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING MAY 1, 1968, AND ENDING APRIL 30, 1969. BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois: Section 1. That the sum of Eight Hundred Ninety Five Thousand, Seven Hundred Eighty Four Dollars ($895,784-00), the same being the total amount to be levied of appropriations heretofore made for the corporate and municipal purposes for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 1968, and ending April 30, 1969, as appropriated for the current fiscal year by the "Annual Appropriation Bill," be and the same is hereby levied on all taxable Property within the Village of Elk Grove Village according to the valuation of said property as is, or shall be assessed or equalized by State and County purposes for the current year 1968. The appropriations theretofore having heretofore been made in and by an ordinance adopted by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a meeting thereof reg- ularly convened and held in the said Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, on the 23rd day of July, 1968, and thereafter duly published in the Elk Grove Herald and the DuPage County Register, newspapers published in and having a general circulation within the said Village of Elk Grove Village, on the 28th day of July, 1968, according to law; the various objects and purposes for which said appropriations were heretofore made are set forth under the column entitled "Amount Appropriated," and the specific amount hereby levied for each object and purpose is set forth under the column entitled "Amount Levied" as follows: Article S -
