AN ORDINANCE VACATING ALL OF UNITED LANE
IN THE DEVON-O'HARE INDUSTRIAL PARK
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, afteridue investigation and due
consideration, have determined that the nature and extent of
the public use and the public interest to be subserved is
such as to warrant the vacation of all of United Lane in the
Village of Elk Grove Village, and further described in this
ordinance, and
WHEREAS, all abutting and adjoining property owners
have petitioned for the vacation of all of United Lane;
Section 1. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the
President and by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk
Grove Village, County of Cook, Illinois, that all of United
Lane, as hereinafter described. shall be and the same is hereby
vacated and closed inasmuch as said street is no longer re-
quired for the public use and the public interest would best
be subserved by such vacation.
That part of the North East quarter of Section 2,
Township 40 North, Range 11, Last of the Third
Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning
at a point on a line 275 feet North of, measured on
the East line of said North East quarter, and parallel
with the South line of said North East quarter, said
point being 1610 feet West of the East line of said
I North East quarter; thence West parallel with the
South line of said North East quarter, a distance of
60 feet; thence North parallel with the East line of,
said North East quarter a distance of 2114.24 feet;
thence Westerly on a curved line tangent to the last
described course convex to the North East, having a i
radius of 38 feet a distance of 60.13 feet; thence
East on a line 50 feet South of and parallel with the j
North line of said North East quarter a distance of j
136 feet; thence Southerly on a curved line tangent
to the last described course, convex to the North West,
having a radius of 38 feet, a distance of 59.25 feet;
thence south on a line 1610 feet West of and parallel
with the East line of said North East quarter, a distar'.,e
of 2,016.73 feet; thence Easterly on a curved line tanc'art
to the last described cburse, convex to the South West;
having a radius of 38 feet, a distance of 60.13 feet;
thence West on a line 315 feet North of and parallel with
the South line of the North East quarter a distance of',,

38.44 feet; thence South of a line 1610 feet West of

and parallel with the East line of said North East
quarter, a distance of 60 feet to the place of be-
ginning, in Du Page County, Illinois.
Section 2. Be it further ordained that the Village '
Clerk be and is hereby directed to file for record in the Office
of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County a certified copy of this
ordinance with an accompanying plat of vacation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
i law.
