AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE ELK GROVE VILLAGE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village did retain
Tec Search, Inc. as municipal planners to prepare a comprehensive
plan for the Village of Elk Grove Village, which comprehensive
plan is a document recommending plans for the present and future
development or redevelopment of land situated within the corporate
limits of Elk Grove Village and any contiguous territory not more
than one and one-half miles beyond the corporate limits and not
included in any other. municipality. The Comprehensive Plan also
includes requirements with reference to streets, public grounds,
and other improvements specified in the document, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with statutes made and provided
the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village did
conduct public hearings on the aforementioned document and did
recommend passage and approval of this ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1: That the Elk Grove Village Comprehensive
Plan consisting of a booklet and certain maps attached hereto,
prepared by Tec Search, Inc. hereby -incorporated by.'ref.erence
each document bearing the following identification:
" Adopted by reference as part of the Elk Grove
Village Comprehensive Plan on _ , 1968
by Ordinance No. which has been duly
passed and approved by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village."
is hereby adopted and -approved as the Comprehensive Plan of
the Village of Elk Grove Village.
Section 2: That any and all regulations contained in
said documents are hereby approved -and adopted.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk shall keep in her
office at least three (3) copies of the Comprehensive Plan and
all documents in connection therewith for inspection by interested
persons. The Clerk shall also make available copies of the
Comprehensive Plan, for purchase at such rates as the Village
Board may determine from time to time and is directed to record
a certificate of adoption of the Comprehensive Plan with the
Recorder of Deeds of Cook County forthwith -and the Recorder of
Deeds of DuPage County forthwith.

Section 4: This ordinance scall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
