DES PLAINES, ILLINOIS WILMETTE, ILLINOIS AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN OFFICIAL MAP AND STANDARDS GOVERNING THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE Village President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, County of Cook, Illinois. SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This ordinance shall be known and may be cited as the Official Map and Standards Ordinance. SECTION 2. PURPOSE. It is the purpose of this ordinance (a) to adopt an Official Map; (b) to adopt and designate official stan- dards for the development and redevelopment of the municipality; and (c) to provide for the filing of copies of such maps and stan- dards in the office of the municipal clerk for the information of the public. SECTION 3. IDENTIFICATION OF MAPS AND STANDARDS ADOPTED BY REFER- ENCE. Previously printed maps and standards attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference and hereby made a part of this ordinance shall be identified by the following statement marked or stamped thereon: "Adoption by reference as a part of the Official Map and Standards Ordinance passed on 19_ by the Village President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, approved by Village President, attest . Village Clerk." O 0 SECTION 4. OFFICIAL MAP ADOPTED BY REFERENCE. The following map attached hereto is hereby incorporated by reference and adopted as a part of this ordinance and shall be known as the Official Map containing the following part or parts within the legend, such part or parts being derived from the Elk Grove Village Com- prehensive Plan: A. Recommended Annexation Area. Land suitable for annexation and recommended Elk Grove Village zoning classifications. B. Thoroughfare Extensions. Proposed major streets and secondary streets. C. Public Buildings. Proposed fire stations and civic center. D. School and/or Park Sites. Proposed schools and parks. SECTION 5. OFFICIAL STANDARDS ADOPTED BY REFERENCE. The follow- ing are hereby adopted by reference and shall be known as the official standards of the Village of Elk Grove Village for areas designated by the Official Map attached. A. Chapter 8 of the Municipal Code of Elk Grove Vil- lage relating to Subdivision Regulations. B. The Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance. SECTION 6. PENALTIES. A violator of any provision of this ordi- nance shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not less than $25.00 nor more than $200.00. Each day a violation is permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense. 6 SECTION 7. AVAILABILITY OF COPIES OF ORDINANCE, The Village Clerk shall keep in his office at least three copies of this ordinance, including such maps and standards as are incorporated herein by reference, and any amendment thereof, for inspection by interested persons. The Clerk shall also make available copies of this ordinance for purchase at $5.00 each, either through duplication in advance of contemplated demand or upon order as required. The foregoing copies of the ordinance shall be in addition to the original copy which statutes require the Clerk to keep as a part of the official record of enacted ordinances, SECTION 8. SEVERABILITY. Any provision of this ordinance held invalid shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. SECTION 9. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance including any pre- viously printed maps and standards attached to and incorporated by reference therein, shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication.
