AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE LOCF.TED ALONG YORK ROAD, LYING
APPROXIMATELY 900' SOUTH OF DEVON AVENUE
WHEREAS, written petitions have been filed with the
Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village by Pioneer
Trust and Savings Bank, as Trustee under the Last Will and
Testament of J. Edward Kostur, Sr., Deceased, being the sole
owner of record of the hereinafter described land and territory,
for annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the
corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the
Village of Elk Grove Village; has no electors residing thereon;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cock and DuPage, on
the 1 day of ;° �.! , _, , 19(-;; did authorize the
President and Village Clerk to execute a pre -annexation agree-
ment, which agreement did in fact provide for the annexation
of the hereinafter described property to the Village,of Elk
Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said petitions are under oath and in all respects
comply with the requirements of the Statutes in such cases made
and provided; and
WHEREAS, The Trustees of the Bensenville Rural Fire
Protection District have been fully notified, in accordance with
the Statutes, of the intent of the Village to annex the property;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois,
have examined said petitions and believe it to be to the best in-
terest of said Village that said land and territory be annexed
thereto:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of. Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1: That all land and territory described in said
petition to wit:
LEGAL
That part of the South 20 acres of the North half of

the East half of the North East quarter of Section
2, Township 40 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning
at a point on the South line of the North 10 acres of
said South 20 acres of the North half of the East half
of the North East quarter said point being 50 feet West
of the East line of said North East quarter; thence
West along the South line of said North 10 acres a
distance of 480 feet; thence South parallel with the
East line of said North East quarter a distance of
300 feet; thence East parallel with the South line of
said North 10 acres a distance of 480 feet to a point
50 feet West of the East line of said North East quarter;
thence North parallel with the East line of said North
East quarter a distance of 300 feet to the place of be-
ginning, in DuPage County, Illinois.
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village,
is not within the limits of any municipality, contains no electors
and is not presently in any incorporated municipality, be and the
same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village, so
that hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundry
lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such cases made
and provided.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk
Grove Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy of
this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory
with the Recorder. of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
