WHEREAS, written petitions have been filed with
the Village Clerk of: the Village of Elk Grove Village by
Chicago Title and Trust Company as Trustee under Trust- No.
53022, owner of record of the hereinafter described land and
territory, for annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village;
and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the
corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the
Village of Elk Grove Village; has two (2) electors residing
thereon, namely George IIenk and Mildred Henk, who have joined
in said petition; and
WHEREAS, said petitions are under oath and in all
respects comply with the requirements of the Statutes in such
cases made and provided; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page,
Illinois, have examined said petitions and believe it to he to
the best interest of said Village that said land and territory
be annexed thereto:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President
and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and Du Page, Illinois:
Section 1: That all land and territory described in
said petitions to wit:
That part of the South half of the Southwest Quarter
of Section 34, described as follows: Commencing at
the Southwest corner of said Section; thence East
along the Township line 590.15 feet for the point
of beginning; thence North and parallel with the
West line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of said Section, 1,332.23 feet to the North

line of the SouL111 half of tt)e SouLhwest. Quarter.
of Section 34; thence East along said North line,
674.£30 feet; thence South, and parallel with West
line at the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of said Section 34, 3_,331.11. feet to the
Township line; thence West along said Township line
674.130 feet to the point of beginning, all in Section
34, township 41 North, I:ange 1.1_, Fast of the Third
Principal meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Crave Village,
is not within the limits of any municipality, contains two (2)
electors who have joined with the record owners in a petition
for annexation and which land is not presently in any incorporated
municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of
Elk Crovc Village, so that hereafter Paid territory shall he in-
cluded with in the boundary Lines and limits of said Vi_llaga, as is
by law in such case made and provided.
Section _2_ That: the Village Clerk of the Village of
Elk Grove Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy
of this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory
with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
