AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7 ARTICLE VII, PLAN COMMISSION, OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE RELATING TO MEMBERSHIP
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section I. That Sections 7.702 Membership and 7.703 Term of Office of Article
VII Chapter 7 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and
they are hereby amended to read as follows:
"7.702 Membership.) The Plan Commission shall consist of nine (9) members,
residents of the Village, appointed by the Village President by and with the con-
sent of the Board of Trustees.
"7.703 Term of Office.) Of the nine (9) members of the Plan Commission, one
shall be appointed Chairman for a term of five years; two shall be appointed for
a term of four years; two shall be appointed for a term of three years; two each
shall be appointed for two year terms; and two shall be appointed for one year
terms. Thereafter all appointed members shall serve for a term of three years.
Vacancies shall be filled by appointment for unexpiredterms only. All members
shall serve without compensation."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, and approval according to law.
