HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 510 - 11/14/1967 - LICENSING OF DOGS/AMENDEDORDINANCE NO. 510 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.202 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE RELATING TO LICENSING OF DOGS NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois: Section 1. That Section 17.202 Annual License required, of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and is hereby amended to read as follows: "17.202 Annual License Required.) It shall be unlawful for any person to be the owner of a dog within the Village of Elk Grove Village unless he shall procure a license therefor. Said license shall be obtained on or before the first day of January, or within thirty days after acquiring a dog, in each year, except for a dog less than months old on that day, in which case a license shall be procured when the dog attains that,age." Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force, and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. PASSED & APPROVED THIS 14th day of Attest: Eleanor G.
