AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8.005 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO SIDEWALKS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That the first paragraph of sub -section entitled
"Sidewalks" of Section 8.005 as set forth on page 55d of the
Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sidewalks. If the property subdivided is located within the
corporate limits of the Village, or immediately adjacent
thereto, sidewalks shall be required. ,

without parkway between street pavement and walks are pro-
hibited in residential areas. Such sidewalks, where required,
shall be constructed in accordance with the following: "
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to `law.
